Animated ident created for the Yorkshire Games Festival 2017, held at the National Science and Media Museum in the UK 8-12th November. Using Matt Lamont's great illustrations, I created an 8-bit style mashup of early console games, set to an epic orchestral score.
I used a mix of vector animation in After Effects and some 3D in Cinema 4D Lite, for the rotating cube. The 3D blocks at the end were created inside After Effects.
I used a great plugin called Pixelate It for the SNES style text at the beginning.
