🧊 Solving the Brand Puzzle in 3D
I recently worked with QUIDDITY MEDIA LIMITED on a short LinkedIn animation for Cluttons – a strategic property consultancy specialising in infrastructure, connectivity and smart buildings.
Annabelle Butcher had created some great design work featuring colourful characters and icons, with the focal point being a Rubik’s Cube. My brief? Make it move convincingly, match the perspective and vector look of the original artwork and bring the text to life.
I modelled and animated the cube in Cinema 4D with flat materials to mimic the vector artwork, then brought everything together in After Effects for a crisp final render, optimised for LinkedIn’s 1200x627 format.
From tweaking the cube’s final angle and colours, to adding animated icons and background transitions, this one was all about getting the details right.
