ð Exciting News: Lights Camera Score â Seeds of Hope has won the UNESCO Global 2025 Seeds of Hope for a Better Future â Digital Illustrations Award!

⢠ð±Â 500 pupils | 7 Calderdale schools â creating original stories and music about their âSeeds of Hopeâ
⢠ð¬Â My role: Animating their stories into short films for the live performances
⢠ð»Â Live premiere: Children performed their own compositions with the English Chamber Orchestra at the Victoria Theatre
⢠ð Award recognition: Celebrated internationally alongside projects from France, Gambia, Haiti and Kenya
⢠ð€Â Collaboration: Made possible by Little People Big Noise (Gregory Boardman), Calderdale Council (Culturedale) & the Square Lens Alliance
I don't usually get a standing ovation from a theatre full of my clients, so it was very gratifying and a bit overwhelming to get one when the films were shown to the pupils involved in June.
The budget was tight and timescales were short, so I used stock puppets in Adobe Character Animator, mixed with my own drawings and some vector stock to meet the deadline and stay on budget.
